It won't be like this for long.

I am realizing something now.
Something I have been realizing for awhile now,
but it is starting to hit me harder.

My baby is more of a baby now than a newborn.
She is smiling.
She loves to stand and "walk" with Daren.
Daren is teaching her how to hold her bottle.
She is an ace at holding her head up.
She isn't even two months old yet.
{Hubs: Will you quit making her get older already?!?}

Darius Rucker has a song-- Lots actually and they are all quite good.
But a song that is just for us right now.

It won't be like this for long.
Isn't that the truth?

I cry everytime I hear this song. I was thinking the same thing last night and all of us ended up cuddling in our bed until we fell asleep. I don't want them to grow up either, I have ached for this for so long and it is happening too quickly.

For now, I will just enjoy it - as you are doing. :)

I only marked it "like" instead of "love" because my baby is growing up too fast, too! I don't like it, but I LOVE my baby! She turns 7 months old in a few days and started crawling and pulling up this last week. WHAT?!! Apparently the babies didn't get the "slow down and I'll let you know when I'm ready for the next stage" memo! It's all about enjoying every moment!

Listen to the words of the song "Turn Around"... I can't listen to that without a lump in my throat... it's all about you Sweetie. Enjoy this special time, you deserve it. xoxo
