I am not a very experienced seemstress... but this year I have learned to sew in {relatively} straight lines. I have been pooring over different crib sets and the one I like most is way out of my price range so I thought I would attempt to make the babe's quilt and here is my result! It turned out pretty cute I think and is soooo soft. Everything adoption wise is still going great. Britt's doing okay. She says that the baby is getting bigger and is still feeling entergetic, therefore Britt is feeling as to be expected... She says she is so ready to have this baby! We just love her more and more each day and keep praying for her comfort and strength. 5 weeks from today we will be in Alaska celebrating Britt's Birthday. Crazy... but so excited.
We had a baby shower about a week and a half ago with Daren's family. We are SO blessed. We got an awesome travel system from his parents with the cutest little owls ever on it. She got TONS of cute clothes, a bumbo and as a group gift everyone pitched in and bought us our crib, which is being shipped right now and will hopefully be in her room and assembled this week! We broke down and got this dresser that matches it because it was on sale.... Oh how I love decorating!!!

Okay, so I know this is an old post reposted... sorry to get you excited but some wacko asian chick posted a bunch of dirty pictures in the comment section and I had to delete the whole post and my comments to get rid of her.
