News flash: Teacher ditches school! What? ( I hear you asking.) Well, DH gave his DW his lovely cold and she is desperately trying to get better as she lies in bed blogging and worrying about what her students are doing to her substitute, as she contemplates packing for her vacation that was planned way before DH gave her a cold in the first place.
I slept for 13 hours last night. It was a good thing too. My brain feels much less clouded than yesterday, but my body still feels yuck-o.
I am headed to Vegas for Wild Woman Weekend tomorrow night. I know that sounds a little scandalous coming from this sweet little Idahoan Mormon, but I assure you all wildness will more than likely be goofy renditions of Rock Lobster with my mom and possibly backup vocals from my grandma and cousins. I've been looking forward to this for months and I hope I can leave my cold here with all of the melting snow and have fun playing in the Vegas sun this weekend.
Adoption Update: We went to LDSFS for an adoption orientation last month. We feel good about it but we are going to wait a little. We are going to pay off all of our fertility testing which our wonderful insurance company decided not to pay for after all, and we need to pay good old uncle sam too. Then we will see where we are... We keep bumping into adoption stories and it makes us smile. If anything I think we are on the Lord's timing and it will all work out for our good.
